Introduction to Motorcycling Course

Did You Know....Never
been on a motorcycle? Wondering if it’s right for you? This
three hour Canada Safety Council approved course introduces you
to the basics of riding a motorcycle. All three hours are spent
on our bikes, allowing you to gain an understanding of the
basics of riding, and dispel any concerns about operating a
motorcycle. No M1 license required.
NOTE - There is no license provided at completion.
THIS IS NOT SUITABLE AS A REFRESHER COURSE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE
RIDDEN BEFORE.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Must be 16 years of age or
older. Student under 18 must have parent/guardian sign
release waiver.
- Must provide own helmet, wear
sturdy boots that cover the ankle, pants (jeans), jacket
(leather, nylon or jean) and gloves.
- Pack rainwear – this course
goes, rain or shine!

a Motorcycle

Ready Position
- Controlled
Braking
- Proper
Use of Eyes
- Locating
the Controls
- Starting
the Motorcycle
- Proper
Use of the Clutch
- The Flat
Wrist Technique
- Proper
Riding Position
- Move Off
and Stop
The course
will be taught by accredited and experienced Canada Safety
Council Instructors and will allow students to gain an
understanding of the basics of riding and should help to dispel
any concerns that they may have about operating a motorcycle.
The classes
will never exceed 10 students and at least 2 instructors will be
present at all times.
